Our primary aim at SOLAS Health & Fitness is to offer high quality small group training with no gimmicks. We don’t believe in following fads, traditional resistance training has stood the test of time for good reason. We help people to achieve their goals whether it is strength gain, body composition, fat loss, athletic or pain reduction. Our small group training in combination with our cardio-room facilities will ensure you maximise your strength and cardiovascular health leading to greater longevity as well as quality of life.

My love for all things sport and fitness led me to the University of Limerick where I completed my 4 year undergraduate degree in Sport & Exercise Sciences. Subsequently, on completion of my degree I certified with the NSCA as a Strength & Conditioning coach and landed a role with Cork City F.C. as head S&C coach with the club. I continued in this role under 3 consecutive managers and the team enjoyed a number of successful seasons winning multiple trophies.
Having worked with various GAA teams in 2011 I opened the doors of my first fitness studio, COS Health & Fitness in the grounds of Carrigaline United Soccer Club which has gone from strength to strength. It is with great pride that through the evolution of my business the creation of SOLAS Health & Fitness has come about.

Having played sport throughout my life I realised the importance of health and fitness from an early age. I overcame issues such as childhood asthma through sport and exercise and this led me to pursuing a bachelors degree in this area in UL, where I continued to train and compete in multiple sports. My main sport currently is a mixture of different martial arts which I dedicate most of my time to. After graduating I spent 6 months researching the benefits of participating in sport and managed to publish some scientific papers on the topic. I have continued to try and up-skill after completing the certification in personal training and as long as I call SOLAS my home I will continue to strive for more knowledge so that I can offer the best service possible.
